Yuriko Yamakawa wins the Soka mayoral election

Yuriko Yamakawa
I was elected mayor of Soka City.
Thanks to all of you.
Thank you very much(^o^)/

Last night, I packed the election office to watch the JCOM bulletin, watch the bulletin on the Internet, and at the vote counting venue, I was told whose votes seemed to be the most, and I watched the trend with excitement.

10 pm:00In the first bulletin, Yamakawa and the current mayor are tied with the same vote, and in the next bulletin, Yamakawa is in favor. Next is the incumbent mayor. 11 pm:00In the preliminary counting of votes, it is lined up with 25,000 votes, and it continues to go up and down. I heard that the winning line would be around 40,000 votes.
However, at that point, the newspaper interviewers began to gather with one, two, three, four, five、、、 and the place to take the winning photo was prepared and began.

It seems that they understand that it is a newspaper investigation before the confirmation is made.

"As long as there is no such thing, I think it's a rule," I was excited to hear the voices of the newspapers leaking out of their mouths.

Before this election, her husband Kenichiro Seto, who had been a married couple politician with Yuriko Yamakawa for many years, passed away, and her father died a few days before the election announcement.
I was horrified to think about what would happen to Yuriko if she lost the election、、、

With this election, she will do her best again, thinking of the citizens of Soka as her family and the children of Soka as her own children.

1We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who voted.
Congratulations to all the staff who have been preparing without sleeping at night for the past two months, Yuriko.
